U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. Honors 2024 Power 50 Under 40 Class at ‘Black to the Future’ Celebration
The U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) celebrated its 2024 Power 50 Under 40 honorees at an inspiring event held at The Mayflower Hotel on Friday, October 11th. The event, presented by Walmart and Molson Coors, brought together hundreds of leaders and innovators to honor the extraordinary achievements of young Black professionals shaping the future of business, culture, and community.
The prestigious Game Changer of the Year award was presented to Joshua Dubois, CEO of Value Partnerships, for his groundbreaking work in fostering leadership and opportunities for communities of color.
The evening featured inspiring remarks from Former Mayor Steve Benjamin, Michael Nordman, Senior Manager of Community Affairs at Molson Coors and 2024 Power 50 Under 40 honoree, Regine Moore, Director of Constituent Relations at Walmart, Torarie Durden, Head of Marketing for Walmart Business, and Ron Busby Sr., President and CEO of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc.
“The future of Black leadership is bright, and this event is a testament to the power and potential of young Black professionals across industries,” said Ron Busby Sr. “Our theme, ‘Black to the Future,’ speaks to the impact this generation will have on advancing Black businesses and communities.”
Guests were treated to beauty product giveaways from Tia Mowry’s 4U and Urban Hydration, two Walmart Black-Owned brands, further highlighting the importance of supporting Black entrepreneurship. Additionally, Molson Coors provided attendees with unlimited beverage innovations, including ZOA Energy, Simply Spiked Peach, Blue Moon, and Coors Light.
The USBC Power 50 Under 40 event showcased the future of Black leadership, celebrating those making transformative contributions today and shaping the direction of tomorrow.
