Jessica Rivera Appointed Raedio President

Rivera’s appointment comes as Raedio approaches its fifth anniversary, with her set to oversee the division’s diverse operations, including its record label, publishing, music supervision, podcasts, and events.
Taking over from former president Benoni Tagoe, Rivera will collaborate closely with HOORAE’s head of operations, Kaylin Cotton. Cotton expressed confidence in Rivera’s leadership, citing her extensive industry experience and visionary approach as key assets that will propel Raedio to new heights. Issa Rae, CEO of HOORAE, echoed this sentiment, welcoming Rivera and emphasizing her alignment with the company’s mission to empower artists and produce culture-shifting music and projects.
Rivera brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having most recently served as global senior vice president and general manager at SoundCloud, where she oversaw artist partnerships and distribution. Prior to SoundCloud, Rivera held the position of head of artist relations for YouTube’s West Coast territory, where she spearheaded significant deals, including securing exclusive live streaming rights for the Roots Picnic in partnership with Michelle Obama’s nonprofit organization When We All Vote. Rivera’s distinguished career also includes her tenure as executive vice president and head of East Coast operations and creative at Universal Music Publishing Group.
