The USBC hosted its annual Women of Power Luncheon at Sheila Johnson’s Salamander Hotel, a momentous occasion dedicated to celebrating the remarkable legacy of Black HERstory. The event served as a platform to bring together influential women from diverse fields, acknowledging and honoring their outstanding achievements and contributions.
During the luncheon, Tanya Lombard was rightfully bestowed with the prestigious “Woman of The Year” award, recognizing her exceptional leadership and impact. Additionally, Sheila Johnson was honored with the esteemed “Global Trailblazer” award, paying tribute to her visionary efforts in making a difference on a global scale.
The event witnessed a tremendous turnout, with over 450 women and men in attendance, all coming together to celebrate the collective accomplishments of inspiring women and empowering the next generation of leaders. It was a truly memorable and empowering gathering that highlighted the significance of women’s achievements in shaping history and inspiring positive change.
